You will join a talented and passionate team in the smart industry sector as a Site Construction Manager.
To qualify, you must be able to complete the following responsibilities:
Advise the Project Director/Manager of any aspects of the project that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snagging; contractor schedule;
Overall responsibility for success and completion of assigned projects ;
Attend project progress meetings;
Review Contractor’s installation method statements;
Maintain on-going list of defects for contractor’s remedial actions;
Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and commitment to an injury-free environment ;
Contacts client, consultants, contract administrator, head office, local authority representatives, production & maintenance team, etc ;
Manage the day to day work of the delivery team;
Manage overall job site safety ;
Review and comment on Contractor’s testing and commissioning results and advise the Project Director/Manager accordingly;
Prepare draft site / engineer’s instructions, relating to the building mechanical services, as required and issue to the Project Manager;
Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager;
Complete daily and/or periodic updates requested by supervisor;
On a spot basis, witness mechanical system final testing and commissioning, piped system pressure tests, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during and advise the Project Director/Manager accordingly ;
Deal with Contractor’s RFIs relating to the MEP works.
